About Us

The Guidance and Counseling Center of Perpetual Help College of Manila aims to create a safe and supportive environment where students are empowered to understand themselves better, overcome challenges, make informed decisions, and thrive in their academic, personal, social, and career journeys.


Services Offered

Counseling

Private, one-on-one sessions or small group discussions for students dealing with academic concerns, personal issues, emotional challenges, or interpersonal difficulties.

Career Guidance and Planning

Assistance in understanding career interests, choosing appropriate strands or college programs, and planning for future career paths.

Psychological Testing Services

Administration of entrance exams, career interest tests, and other psychological tools to aid in self-understanding and educational planning of students.

Referral Services

Coordination with external professionals or agencies for students who require specialized support beyond the school's resources.


Programs and Activities

Kumustahan Sessions

Scheduled routine interviews and mental health check-ins with students from Junior High, Senior High, and College levels.

Guidance Classroom Check-Ins

Periodic, unannounced visits to classes by the Guidance Team to engage students in short activities and discussions related to social-emotional learning and mental wellness.

Homeroom Guidance for Junior High School

Structured guidance periods held in partnership with JHS teachers that focus on developing students' self-awareness, responsible decision-making, respect for others, and goal setting.

Webinars and Workshops

Sessions on topics such as emotional regulation, digital wellness and responsible social media use, mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and more.

Career Guidance Initiatives

Career talks, interest profiling, and information sessions with invited professionals and partner institutions to help students make informed decisions.

Q: Is Counseling confidential?

A: Yes, counseling sessions are confidential. Information shared during sessions will not be disclosed without the student's consent, except in cases where there is a risk of harm to self or others.

Q: Can I walk in for counseling?

A: Students are encouraged to schedule an appointment, but walk-ins are accommodated depending on availability.

Q: Who can avail of the services?

A: All enrolled students of Perpetual Help College of Manila.
